Envision a teenager handed a microphone and told to shape 60 younger kids into a unified team of students chanting a rap to help them remember Central American geography. Later that day, this same teen may fall apart because of adversity at home. Our staff are able to help because they know the teen well enough to see the signs of crisis, and care enough to spend time discussing possible solutions. The teen opens up and shares not because she is a charity case, but because she is a trusted member of a team that needs them to succeed.
