Chief Advancement Officer, National, New City Kids

Before his call to ministry, Andy was the senior Fisheries scientist for an environmental consulting firm based in Michigan. For the last 23 years, Andy has served as an Athletic Director and Development Director at Northern Michigan Christian school in Northern Michigan (11 years) and then moved to SpringHill Camps in 2008 where he served as the VP of Donor Engagement. Andy’s interaction with New City Kids began in early 1990’s when his friends Trevor and Linda Rubingh began the ministry journey that is now New City Kids. Andy’s involvement grew as the years have gone by in both financial and advisory support New City Kids and the executive team. Andy’s role as Chief Advancement Officer at New City Kids is to help the organization to flourish and grow. He is working in the areas of fundraising, staff leadership, and organizational growth. New City Kids has five sites in three cities with 65 adult employees serving 500 kids each day with a vision for more sites in more cities in New Jersey, Michigan and other states across the country. Andy’s work will help this vision become a reality. Andy and his wife Michele live and serve in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area.
